Intel-Specific Parameters

Intel-specific parameters are parameters that are supported only in the MAX+PLUS II software and the Intel^® Quartus^® Prime software. These parameters include logic options used as parameters. These parameter are used for synthesis purposes only.

When you instantiate a library of parameterized modules (LPM) function in a VHDL Design File (.vhd) Definition, you must use the LPM_HINT parameter to specify an Intel-specific parameter. For example: LPM_HINT = "CHAIN_SIZE = 8, ONE_INPUT_IS_CONSTANT = YES"
