Automatically generate a single report file after design processing

Automatically generates a single report file after design processing, such as compilation. The report file displays information about the current revision. If you turn this option on, the Intel^® Quartus^® Prime software generates a single Text-Format Report File (.rpt) Definition for compilation that combines the information of the individual module compilation reports.

If you turn this option on together with the Automatically generate HTML-Format Report Files (.htm) after design processing option, the Intel^® Quartus^® Prime software generates both a single Text-Format Report File and an HTML-Format Report File (.htm) Definition. The compilation report in both formats combines the information of the individual module compilation reports.

If you turn this option on together with the Compact report table format option, the Intel^® Quartus^® Prime software generates only the compact table format single Text-Format Report File.
