Current License
Displays the current license settings and license update buttons:
- Mode— Displays the Intel® Quartus® Prime license mode. There are three modes: Free, Evaluation, and Licensed.
- Subscription Expiration— Date though which you purchased maintenance and support in your current license.
- Host ID Type— Displays the type of identification carried by the system on which the Intel® Quartus® Prime software runs. There are four types of identification: a System ID for your PC, a software guard ID, a PC's C: drive hard disk serial number ID, and a Linux system ID.
- Host ID Value— Displays the identification number associated with the License Type.
- Web License Update— Checks the Altera website Definition for license file (license.dat) updates.
- Begin 30-day Grace Period— Enables the 30-day evaluation period for the Intel® Quartus® Prime software, which allows you to use the Intel® Quartus® Prime software with full programming file support. At startup, a message displays how many days are left in the grace period. When the grace period expires, programming files support is disabled.
- Wait for floating licenses— Directs the Intel® Quartus® Prime software to wait until a floating (network) license is available if all Intel® Quartus® Prime or IP licenses are in use at compilation time. The Intel® Quartus® Prime software generates the following message when compilation pauses because of floating license availability:
