Instance Manager Pane

You open this pane by opening the In-System Memory Content Editor, and then clicking Instance Manager on the View menu.

Displays information about the instances currently in a device, and allows you to control the data the In-System Memory Content Editor acquires.

In-System Memory Content Editor Status:

Displays status messages for the In-System Memory Content Editor (such as Acquisition in Progress).

Index:

Displays the index of each instance in the device. You can use an instance index with the In-System Memory Content Editor Settings Report to identify an instance.

Instance ID:

Displays the name that you specified for each instance.

Status:

Displays the current status of each instance.

Width:

Displays the current width of each word of each instance.

Depth:

Displays the current number of words in each instance.

Type:

Displays instance types of each instance. Instances can be one of the following types: Constant or RAM/ROM.

Mode:

Displays instance modes of each instance. Instances can be in one of the following modes: Read/Write or Write-only.
