ID:186188 GXB receiver channel "<name>" has port SLPBK connected and the associated GXB transmitter channel "<name>" has port SRLPBK connected, but VODCTRL is not specified as a port
CAUSE: Serial loopback (port SLPBK
is driven high) of the specified gigabit transceiver block (GXB) receiver channel requires a VODCTRL
setting of 800mV or higher (assuming 100 Ohms termination). Reverse-serial loopback requires a VODCTRL
setting of 400mV (assuming 100 Ohms termination). Dynamic VODCTRL
is required to allow this capability.
ACTION: Modify the design and specify VODCTRL
as a port. If you use the
MegaWizard Plug-In Manager
to instantiate the ALTGXB megafunction, the port names are rx_slpbk
, tx_srlpbk
, and tx_vodctrl
; however, because the ALTGXB MegaWizard Plug-In Manager is being deprecated, Intel recommends using ALTGX MegaWizard Plug-In Manager instead.
