ID:14150 Can't recognize value <name> for EXTCLK0_COUNTER parameter in PLL "<name>" because SCAN_CHAN parameter is set to SHORT -- EXTCLK0_COUNTER parameter must be set to G0
CAUSE: The specified PLL has the specified value for the EXTCLK0_COUNTER
parameter; however, Analysis & Synthesis does not recognize the EXTCLK0_COUNTER
parameter value because the SCAN_CHAIN
parameter is set to SHORT
. A EXTCLK0_COUNTER
parameter that is set to a value other than G0
is not supported for PLLs with short scan chains, because the parameter value requires an fbin
port and e
n (e0
–e3
) counters, but a PLL with a short scan chain must be placed in an enhanced PLL that does not have an fbin
port and e
n counters. This problem usually occurs when you instantiate a megafunction directly in a text file rather than using the
MegaWizard Plug-In Manager
.
ACTION: Locate the source of the message to determine which megafunction parameter is causing the error and set the EXTCLK0_COUNTER
parameter to G0
. To avoid receiving this message in the future, Intel recommends using the MegaWizard Plug-In Manager command to specify legal parameter values for megafunctions.
