Default toggle rates for unspecified signals

Allows you to specify toggle rates for the PowerPlay Power Analyzer to use during power analysis. The following choices are available:

  • Default toggle rate used for input I/O signals—Allows you to specify a default toggle rate for the PowerPlay Power Analyzer to assume for all primary I/O signals, which include input I/O, bidirectional (input path), and virtual pins. You can specify the toggle rate as a percentage of clock cycles in which the signal toggles, or as a number of transitions per second, where a transition is defined as a change of state from 0 to 1 or from 1 to 0.
    Note:

The PowerPlay Analyzer assumes a static probability of 0.5 for all unspecified signals.
