I/O Placement Optimizations logic option

A logic option that specifies whether the Fitter performs I/O placement optimizations. Performing I/O placement optimizations may improve I/O timing, fMAX, and fitting, but may also require longer compilation time.

This option is useful for improving I/O timing, fMAX, and fitting.

This option is available for all Intel devices supported by the Quartus^® Prime software except MAX3000 and MAX7000 devices.
