Design Partitions Window

Displays the properties of design partitions currently defined in a design. Right-click one or multiple partitions to rename, delete, or specify properties.

You open this window by clicking Assignments > Design Partitions Window. You can also open the Design Partitions Window by right-clicking the design instance and selecting Design Partition > Design Partitions Window.

To create a design partition for partial reconfiguration from the Project Navigator:

Select the Hierarchy tab in the Project Navigator.
Right-click the entity in the Entity list and click Design Partition > Set as Reconfigurable Design Partition.

To open the Create New Partition window from the Design Partitions Window, double-click the <<new>> button in the Partition Name.
