Junction temperature range

Displays the junction temperature range of the device selected on the Device dialog box..

  • Minimum temperature— Displays the minimum allowable junction temperature of the device, in degrees Celsius. You can select a minimum allowable junction temperature for supported devices only.

  • Maximum temperature— Displays the maximum allowable junction temperature of the device, in degrees Celsius. You can select a maximum allowable junction temperature for supported devices only. Maximum temperature is used in slow-corner timing analysis.

Note:

Maximum power consumption models for Cyclone II industrial grade devices with a high junction temperature of 125° C are not available. For designs that use Cyclone II industrial devices, if you specify a Maximum temperature of 125° C, you must also specify Typical in the Device power characteristics box of the Operating Settings and Conditions page.
