About the Design Assistant

You can use the Design Assistant to check the reliability of a design based on a set of design rules.

The Design Assistant can analyze and generate messages for a design that targets any Altera device supported by the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software. You first specify which rules you want the Design Assistant to apply to a design and the nodes you want the Design Assistant to report in Messages window, and in the Design Assistant Messages report.

Important: Important: The Design Assistant is not supported by the Arria10 or MAX 10 device families.
