Dedicated circuitry inside gigabit transceiver block (GXB) receiver channels for supported(Cyclone series, MAXII, MAXV, and Stratixseries) devices that aligns bits within a deserialized bus. The word aligner rotates the bits in a bus to set bit 0 in the appropriate position.
