Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Exported Partition File (.qxp) Definition

A binary file that contains compilation results describing the exported design partition and includes either a post-fit or post-synthesis netlist, or both. The Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Exported Partition File also contains LogicLock region and other partition assignments.

You can generate a Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Exported Partition File with the Export Project as Design Partition command, or by using the options in the Incremental Compilation page in the Settings dialog box. The Import Design Partition dialog box uses the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Exported Partition File as input when importing a sub-design using bottom-up design flow and incremental compilation.
