Used in conjunction with the Programmer to program or configure all Altera devices supported by the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software.

The following programming hardware is available in the current version of the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software:

The ByteBlasterMV cable uses a parallel port. The USB-Blaster cable, the Ethernet Blaster cable, and the ByteBlasterII cable have the same capabilities as the ByteBlaster cable, with the additional functionality of providing programming support for serial configuration devices. The USB-Blaster cable uses a USB port, the Ethernet Blaster cable uses an Ethernet port, and the ByteBlasterII cable uses a parallel port.
