A signal value pulse that occurs when a logic level changes two or more times over a short period.
When you perform a timing simulation, you can define the length of a glitch and monitor your design for pulses shorter than the defined value. The Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software can detect glitches as narrow as 1 ps. Glitch detection is not available for functional simulation.
