Status:

Displays the current status of the instance.

Incremental Compilation:

Allows you to enable incremental compilation. By default, Incremental Compilation is turned on.

LEs:

Displays the number of logic elements used in the instance. The column header displays the total number of logic elements used in the design.

Percent Used:

Displays the percentage used of total RAM on the device for each instance. This column is available only for StratixIII devices.

Note: The Memory, M512, M4K, and M-RAM columns on the Instance Manager pane, described as follows, display estimates of how much RAM block your design uses, including both the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer and your design. When the estimated RAM block usage exceeds the capacity of the Altera device you use in your design, a message in the appropriate memory column states that the RAM block usage cannot fit on your device.

Memory:

Displays the percent of total RAM for each instance in the design, and the total for the whole design is displayed in the column heading. This column is available only for StratixIII devices.

M512:

Displays the estimated number of M512 memory blocks for each instance.

M4K:

Displays the estimated amount of M4K memory blocks for each instance, and the total for the whole design is displayed in the column heading.

M-RAM:

Displays the estimated amount of M-RAM memory blocks for each instance, and the total for the whole design is displayed in the column heading.
