CAUSE: By using the analyze_latches_as_synchronous_elements setting, you have instructed the Quartus II software to analyze latches as synchronous elements. However, this feature is not supported for the currently selected device family.
ACTION: No action is required. The TimeQuest Timing Analyzer analyzes latches as combinational loops. However, the TimeQuest analyzer may not correctly analyze designs containing latches. Therefore, Altera recommends changing your design to remove the latches whenever possible.
