CAUSE: Quartus Prime PowerPlay Power Analyzer (PPPA) does not include power estimates for the Decision Feedback Equalizer (DFE) for current device family.
ACTION: To obtain accurate power estimates, use power estimates from PPPA, and add DFE current to PPPA estimates manually.DFE current can be estimated by importing the PPPA generated CSV file into PowerPlay Early Power Estimator (EPE) version 14.0 or later.Determine DFE currents on ICCR_GXB and ICCA_GXB by finding differences in EPE current estimates between the DFE set to OFF (default), and DFE set to desired setting for channels utilizing DFE.Finally, add DFE currents to the currents estimated by PPPA for these rails.
