CAUSE: You attempted to define a partition for an entity instance that is already set as a partition. If the error occurs after you manually edit the Quartus Prime Settings File (.qsf) for the project, only one of the partitions defined for this entity instance is recognized by the Quartus Prime software.
ACTION: If you obtain this message while trying to create a partition using the Design Partitions Window command, no action is required because your request is ignored. If you obtain this message after manually editing the project QSF, make the correction in the QSF to avoid seeing this message again.
