CAUSE: The specified number of on-chip termination (OCT) RUP, RDN, or RZQ pins in the design have no exact pin location assignments. As a result, the Quartus Prime software automatically placed these pins. If the RUP, RDN or RZQ pins are not properly connected to off-chip reference resistors, the signal integrity of pins which uses calibrated OCT will be degraded. Check the input pins section under the resource section of the Fitter report panel to verify the pins that should be connected to off-chip reference resistors. Click the + icon in the Messages window or the Messages section of the Report window to display details on the specific nodes that are not assigned a location.
ACTION: To avoid receiving this warning, Altera recommends assigning the specified pins to the exact locations in the device.
