CAUSE: You attempted to connect to the Altera website for license file updates. However, the Quartus Prime software cannot make the connection to the website, possibly because your internet connection is down, or you have web browser settings that are incompatible with those of the automatic connection to the Altera website.
ACTION: Check your internet connection and the settings for your web browser for errors. To prevent the Quartus Prime software from connecting to the internet to check for updates, in the Options dialog box, on the Internet Connectivity page, turn off the options under Startup.
