CAUSE: You directed the Quartus Prime software to detect devices in a chain and automatically add Altera-supported devices to the Device list in the Programmer window. You then tried to save the Chain Description File (.cdf). However, the Device list contains one or more unknown or undetermined devices. You cannot save a CDF if it contains unknown or undetermined devices.
ACTION: Replace the unknown or undetermined device or devices with an Altera or user-defined device.
