CAUSE: The Fitter is reporting the region where the router estimates peak interconnect usage will occur. Peak interconnect usage refers to the largest percentage of interconnect resources used in a region of the chip. Large values for estimated peak interconnect usage indicate that the design is hard to route and might require more than one fitting attempt. The percentage of routing that can be used by a design before routing becomes difficult varies by device family. Generally, designs where the estimated peak interconnect usage is less than 70% will route without difficulty.
ACTION: No action is required. If the design is difficult to route, the Fitter may have an increased likelihood of fitting the design if the interconnect demand in this region is reduced. Consult the Resource Optimization Advisor for suggestions.
