CAUSE: The specified number of partitions have been resolved and merged using the appropriate netlist. The number of partitions may be different from the number of user-defined partitions due to one or more of the following reasons:
- The Compiler may have added additional partitions to the design.
- Some of the partitions may be inheriting contents from their parent partition. For example, if a partition's
Netlist Type
property is set to Empty, all partitions defined under it are considered to be part of the empty parent partition. Similarly, if a partition is using an imported or an import-based Post-Fit netlist type, all partitions defined under it are considered to be part of the parent partition. In both cases, the child partitions are included in their parent partition and do not need to be merged separately.
ACTION: No action is required. If the number of partitions is different from what you expected, check the partition definitions in the design.
