CAUSE: You attempted to compile a project with a SignalTap II File (.stp) containing the specified SignalTap II instance in an unsupported version of the SignalTap II logic analyzer with the specified IP version number. As a result, the Quartus Prime software cannot compile the project with the selected STP File.
ACTION: Update the STP File to the current SignalTap II IP version by opening the STP File in the Quartus Prime software and clicking Yes in the message dialog box that opens.
