CAUSE: You tried to open the State Machine Viewer. However, the Quartus Prime software cannot open the State Machine Viewer until Analysis & Elaboration completes processing the design. Performing Analysis & Elaboration generates the RTL netlist, which is needed to generate data in the State Machine Viewer.
ACTION: Perform Analysis & Elaboration and then open the State Machine Viewer.
