ID:262000 Can't compile project with SignalTap II instance "<name>" -- current Quartus Prime software version requires SignalTap II IP version <number>, but SignalTap II instance uses SignalTap II IP version <number>

CAUSE: You attempted to compile a project with a SignalTap II File (.stp) containing the specified SignalTap II instance with the specified IP version number. However, the Quartus Prime software requires the SignalTap II IP version with the specified number. As a result, the Quartus Prime software cannot compile the project.

ACTION: Update the SignalTap II instance in the STP File to the current SignalTap II IP version number by opening the STP File in the Quartus Prime software, clicking Yes when prompted to update the STP File to the current SignalTap II IP version, saving the STP File, and then recompiling the project using the Quartus Prime software.
