CAUSE: You attempted to open the Analog Waveform Viewer, but the Quartus Prime software cannot open the Analog Waveform Viewer until full compilation or Analysis & Synthesis finishes processing the design. Performing full compilation or Analysis & Synthesis generates the atom netlist, which is needed to generate the data in the Analog Waveform Viewer.
ACTION: Perform full compilation or Analysis & Synthesis and then open the Analog Waveform Viewer.
