Node Finder Command (View Menu)

This command is available when you point to Utility Windows on the View menu, and then click Node Finder.

Allows you to find any node name in a compiled Quartus® Prime Standard Edition project, based on the specified search criteria.

These options are available when you click the Show More Search Options button:

Named:

Specifies the node name, partial node name, and/or standard wildcard characters that limit the search to node names matching the specified text.

List:

Starts the node name search using the current settings and filter.

Expand all/ Collapse all:

Allows you to expand or collapse the view of nodes in the Nodes Found list.

Selected Nodes:

Displays the nodes that you copy to this list by clicking Copy to Selected Nodes list or Copy all to Selected Nodes list.

Filter:

Specifies the current Altera-provided or custom filter. The Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software includes the following non-editable, default filters. You can use these filters to perform a node name search, or you can create a new filter using any of the Altera-provided filter settings as the initial settings.

Customize:

Opens the Customize Filter dialog box.

Look in:

Allows you to view and edit the current search hierarchy path. You can type the search hierarchy path in the Look in box, or browse to select the search hierarchy level in the Select Hierarchy Level dialog box. In addition, you can move up the search hierarchy by deleting hierarchical names from the Look in box.

Include subentities:

Includes node names that are below the current search hierarchy level in the node name search.

Hierarchy view:

Allows you to view nodes in the Nodes Found list in hierarchy levels.
