Specifying Default Logic Options and Parameters

Logic options allow you to set attributes without editing the source code. You can assign entity-specific logic options in the Assignment Editor, or you can specify global logic options in the Settings dialog box. Global logic options control attributes such as area and speed optimization, logic level power-up states, removal of duplicate logic, the replacement of logic, state machine and multiplexer encoding, and other options. You can use the Default Parameters page of the Settings dialog box to specify the default value of parameters for the project.
