A 3D Packaging Technique Breakthrough

Intel® Core™ processors with Intel® Hybrid Technology combine Foveros 3D stacking and Hybrid CPU architecture in a single 12x12x1mm chip, delivering low power and Core performance in a small footprint. The combination of both delivers PC compute in smaller devices and enables new form factors.

Intel® Core™ processors with Intel® Hybrid Technology are built on a breakthrough 3D packaging technique called Foveros - allowing us to stack disparate IPs together in three dimensions, rather than two. Foveros shrinks the compute footprint and allows to mix and match IPs to deliver a customized experience for a newer class of devices. This Intel® Hybrid Processor is dramatically reducing board size and redefining the future of laptops and mobile devices.

Amazing New Hybrid Technology

This innovative hybrid processor combines the best of two IA architectures, bringing together one Sunny Cove core and four Tremont cores. On board Hardware Guided Scheduling works real time with Windows* 10 scheduler to make intelligent decisions on thread scheduling. Foreground, performance threads are prioritized on Sunny Cove delivering responsive performance by leveraging Intel® Turbo Boost Technology. Background and low priority threads are scheduled on Tremont for efficiency. Intel® Adaptix™ technology orchestrates power and performance to the tune of the user’s instantaneous demands.

Best in Class Wi-Fi 6: Intel® Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+) products support optional 160 MHz channels, enabling the fastest possible theoretical maximum speeds (2402 Mbps) for typical 2x2 802.11ax PC Wi-Fi products. Premium Intel® Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+) products enable 2-4x faster maximum theoretical speeds compared standard 2x2 (1201 Mbps) or 1x1 (600 Mbps) 802.11ax PC Wi-Fi products, which only support the mandatory requirement of 80 MHz channels.
