Key Features on 13th Gen Intel® Core™ Processors

Do more at the edge with a maximized combination of performance, efficiency, and flexibility. Each 13th Gen Intel® Core™ processor includes performance hybrid architecture and Intel® Thread Director to optimize performance across edge use cases. The variety of SKUs offer a choice of features including more cores for socketed applications for better multitasking performance and ruggedization for industrial applications. Built-in Intel® UHD Graphics support dynamic experiences while bringing AI to the edge.

Flexibility and Performance

Get the flexibility to choose the right processor for your needs with a full lineup of mainstream and IoT embedded CPUs and PCHs. 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i5 processors now include performance hybrid architecture1 while Intel® Core™ i9 and i7 offer even higher performance. Select SKUs offer higher L2 and L3 cache, providing more control for workload prioritization for industrial applications such as embedded and telecommunications applications.

Socket compatibility with the previous generation helps system builders swap up to the 13th Gen Intel® Core™ processors, with up to 24 core and 32 threads.

Fuel Immersive Interactions

Enable rich interactions with fast graphics performance—up to 32 graphics execution units (EUs)3—available from Intel® UHD Graphics 770 powered by Intel® Xe architecture.3 13th Gen Intel® Core™ processors support up to four concurrent 4K60 HDR displays or one 8K display. They also offer video synchronization for video walls, and digital signage.

The processor’s high core count and integrated graphics pair with hardware-enabled AI acceleration with Intel® DL Boost (VNNI) and up to 32 graphics EUs for parallel AI workload processing. These features enable fast CPU image classification performance that boosts inference for IoT devices. The Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ toolkit also supports 13th Gen Intel® Core™ processors with optimized deep learning inference capabilities.

Support More Workloads and Devices

Connect more accelerators, peripherals, and IoT sensors with up to 16 lanes of PCIe 5.0 and 4 lanes of PCIe 4.0 on the CPU. The 13th Gen Intel® Core™ processor platform supports flexible memory configurations built for multitasking and concurrent workloads with up to DDR5-5600 memory modules and support for DDR4-3200 modules.

Increase connectivity with options for two discrete Thunderbolt™ 4 USB4 ports, up to eight DMI 4.0 lanes, integrated Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and support for discrete Intel® Wi-Fi 6E for embedded use conditions.

Ready for IoT Edge

13th Gen Intel® Core™ processors are ready for extended IoT deployments. Long-term software support through Windows* 10 IoT Enterprise 2021 Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) and EFLOW* support make managing extended deployments easier with more convenient software updates.

Enterprises also benefit from Intel’s consistent product availability4 for parts and maintenance over an extended period. Select Intel® Core™ processor SKUs offer embedded use conditions.3
