Cloud Fundamentals
This series of easily digestible trainings is designed to instill cloud industry and technology knowledge and build the competency needed to achieve a competitive advantage. After completing the training series, you'll receive the Intel® Partner Solution Pro badge and be able to:
- Identify primary elements of cloud architecture
- Articulate cloud industry fundamentals and business value
- Communicate the benefits of cloud orchestration
- Understand how to unlock the value of Intel technology in the cloud
Who Should Take This?
- Business Executives, Data Center Managers, Marketing Managers, Operation Managers, Sales Managers within Enterprise organizations and Cloud Service Providers looking to develop a broad understanding of cloud technologies and products impacted or driven by Intel to gain insights to help you better position your cloud offerings to your customers.
What's Required?
- Must complete 19 mandatory courses, 5.75 hours total.
- Pass each course quiz with a score of 80% or better.
- Must be an Intel® Partner Alliance member.

- None
The cloud fundamentals training series is easily digestible and translates well into customer conversations without being too techy.
After completing the cloud fundamentals training. I am more confident driving conversations with cloud service providers, other ecosystem partners, and customers.
Cloud Technical Professional Series
This series delivers deeper technical cloud competency and proficiency through practical and hands-on learning across a range of critical cloud technologies, including tools that help achieve the best configurations and the Intel technologies that drive them. After completing the training series, you’ll receive the Intel® Partner Technical Pro – Cloud Technical Professional badge and be able to:
- Configure a system and gather info from different tools.
- Examine several top enterprise workloads that can help customers resolve key business challenges.
- Understand packet processing and effective and secure networks in cloud-era data centers and network migration in a multi-cloud environment.
- Grasp cloud computing security concepts and learn current industry best practices.
- Demonstrate how cloud instances vary by CSP and workload category.
Who Should Take This?
- Cloud solution architects, data center engineers, cloud technologists and IT professionals who need education around the specifics of building and operating a cloud infrastructure.
- This curriculum is appropriate for Cloud Service Providers, Distributors, Resellers and Managed Service Providers who service cloud customers.
What's Required?
- Must complete 22 mandatory courses, 11 hours total.
- Pass each course quiz with a score of 80% or better.
- Must complete the final review quiz.
- Must be an Intel® Partner Alliance member.
Prerequisites
- Not required, but suggest the Cloud Fundamentals competency.

Cloud Business Professional Series
This series covers what businesses need most when considering cloud—the various architectural and service offerings, steps required to prepare for and get the desired results from their cloud transformation, and how Intel products and software optimizations maximize business value. After completing the training series, you’ll receive the Intel® Partner Solution Pro – Cloud Business Professional badge and be able to:
- Define end-customers' business drivers and business requirements to guide organizations through complex stages of cloud transformation strategy.
- Assess and recommend workload placement strategies.
- Understand the pricing fundamentals of the big 3 CSPs, including purchasing methods, billing decomposition and reporting.
- Deploy cost management techniques, native and third-party cost optimization tools to get the most value from cloud budgets.
Who Should Take This?
- Cloud sales and marketing managers, business executives and operations and data center managers who need education around the specifics of the business aspects of operating a cloud at Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), Distributors, Resellers and Managed Service Providers who service cloud customers.
What's Required?
- Must complete 15 mandatory courses, 6 hours total.
- Pass each course quiz with a score of 80% or better.
- Must be an Intel® Partner Alliance member.
Prerequisites
- Not required, but suggest the Cloud Fundamentals competency.
