2018 Placement Scheme Opportunities

Intel Internships - Selection Process

We hope that you’re ready to make your great jump into the future with us. Here’s how the selection process works, along with those all important dates.

From September: Submit your CV and cover letter by applying online.

All applications are reviewed by a team who are looking for good evidence of:

  • Interest in the field for which they have applied
  • A strong academic record
  • Transferable skills including communication and problem solving
  • Some relevant work experience

If your application is successful you will be contacted by one of our team members regarding next steps. This may consist of a phone interview and if successful, an invitation to attend an interview or assessment centre day.

December-March: Assessment centres or interviews take place on site. All students go through two to three selection methods which could include a behavioural interview, a presentation activity and a group exercise. Skills tested at assessment centres are communication, interpersonal, planning and team-building skills. Versatility and the flexibility to adapt to new situations are also essential.

December-March: In this period we aim to deliver the majority of offers.

April: All successful candidates will be invited back to the Intern Open Day which is an event to introduce new interns to their teams and the other interns prior to starting their internship.
