Home to Office Program - Your Bridge From a Break to a Successful Career
This program is designed to help talented women re-enter the workforce after a sabbatical and, in turn, accelerate inclusive participation of women in the workplace.
About the Program
As part of Intel’s RISE 2030 goals, we are working towards advancing our efforts to double the number of women and underrepresented minorities in senior leadership roles and exceed 40% representation of women in technical positions.
Intel India launched the Women returnee program called Home to Office in 2017 to help women on a career break re-join the workforce. The program is a key part of Intel’s constant commitment to investing in social equity initiatives that advance Intel’s inclusion goals.
The key highlights of the program include:
- Facilitating a seamless transition from a career break to the workplace.
- Building an environment that supports this transition.
- Engaging all women with at least 2 years work experience and on a 6 months career break.
- Identifying eligible candidates for direct contract roles or full-time opportunities.
- Offering job flexibility with options to join Onsite, Hybrid or Remote across Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Hema T R
“Intel has embraced me back into the team that I was part of earlier and helped me resume my career from where I left, despite a break of 9 long years in between. This is not just about resuming my work, but about gaining opportunities to contribute in my role, and appreciate & recognize my strengths and skills.
I am extremely proud and lucky to be associated with Intel, which truly displays inclusion, diversity and equal opportunity with their Home to Office policy.
This is the reason why Intel has always been my first choice.”

“My return to corporate R&D has been super smooth due to the tremendous support I received from my manager and my colleagues at Intel. The team has been super supportive and it feels like I have been working in this team for years together rather than just 12 months. I have worked at a number of companies including HP, IBM Research, Xerox etc. Working at Intel is like belonging to a family rather than just a team of people working together. The support, help and kindness I received has been beyond words. For me, I would call Intel's Back from Home to Office program as “Home to Home Program '' because “Home is where the heart is” and my heart is right at Intel! Thank you for making my workplace be like my second home.”
