3.1.1. Submodules

The DMA PCIe Mode modules mainly handle interaction with PCIe IP, including unpack incoming data packets and construct outgoing data packets. The SSGDMA IP operates on software DMA queue to transfer data between local FPGA and Host. The elements of each queue are software descriptors that are written by the driver or software. The DMA modules decodes and executes the incoming DMA queue descriptor packets accordingly. Each DMA channel have separate queues for its read and write operations.
