Discontinuation Notice
Intel is discontinuing the Intel Movidius Neural Compute Stick (NCS), which has been replaced with the Intel Neural Compute Stick 2 (Intel NCS2). Developers looking to prototype or continue to productize their offerings can review guidance for transitioning from the Intel Movidius Neural Compute Stick to other platforms.
There are no further software updates planned for the Intel Movidius Neural Compute SDK.
The Intel Distribution of OpenVINO toolkit supports both the Intel Movidius Neural Compute Stick and the Intel Neural Compute Stick 2. Intel Neural Compute Stick developers can review guidance for transitioning from the Intel Movidius Neural Compute SDK to Intel Distribution of OpenVINO toolkit.
Additional information can be found on the Product Change Notification (PCN116844) posted in the Intel® Quality Document Management System (Intel® QDMS).
