Project Celadon is an Android* open source platform for Intel ® architecture, which allows ODMs, OEM manufacturers, and ecosystem partners to:

Celadon supports the latest Android dessert from Google, providing critical bug fixes and security updates in the kernel.
- Improve Efficiency. Project Celadon is an Android open source platform for Intel® architecture, which also allows developers to leverage Intel® hardware acceleration and provides the flexibility to customize to the latest Android applications.
- Scale reliably. Project Celadon can be used to build a software reference stack for vision based edge computing deployments, such as those used for smart cities, or smart campuses.
Using an Intel Core and Atom processors, Intel® Movidius™ Myriad™ 2 Vision Processing Unit (VPU), Android software stack and Facial recognition algorithms, end users can build FR based authentication solutions to improve security.
