Intel® Graphics Performance Analyzers 2020.2 Release
Published: 07/02/2020
Say hello to some of the latest features for the Intel® Graphics Performance Analyzers (Intel® GPA) tool suite.
Graphics Trace Analyzer
ETW Providers
Capture kernel or application level event data from Event-Tracing-for-Windows Providers. Select any ETW Provider that is registered on the operating system from a dropdown list, or subscribe to custom providers.
Configurable Time Sampling
When setting up trace options choose from a selection of intervals. Previously, the System-wide Time-based GPU Metrics toggle allowed only 2 modes – metrics either per frame or in 400μs intervals. Now select from the following – per frame, or in 400μs, 200μs, 100μs, 50μs, 25μs or 12μs intervals.
Graphics Monitor
Extended Set of Metrics
Select from a wide range of Intel graphics metrics sets in Graphics Monitor. The metrics set chosen here automatically populates in System Analyzer. Change the metrics set in either tool, they automatically sync.
Intel® GPA Framework
Added Support for:
- Support for Vulkan 1.2 (SDK 1.2.135) workloads
- Enabled graceful handling when out of disk space. The HUD now displays a notification. Serialization to the disk is halted to prevent the application from crashing.
- "Scissor Rect" and "2x2 Texture" experiments now available for DirectX12 workloads
