Holger is a principal engineer in the Graphics Research team at Intel, and is focused on real-time ray-tracing software and hardware technology. He began creating real-time 3D graphics software technology over 29 years ago. He wrote fast software rasterizers and contributed to a number of industry firsts, including using ray-traced area light shadows, caustics, GPU-accelerated tessellation techniques, and more. Holger speaks regularly at events and has authored numerous technical articles. He holds various patents and a university computer science diploma.
