Importing Archives and Other Files
You can import into the current project:
- Intel Inspectorresult archive files
- Intel Inspectorresults not associated with a project
- Results from other Intel® error-detection products
To import a file:
- Choose.
- In thechoose an import file.Import Resultpane,
- Click theImportbutton.
Outcome: If the import file is a result archive file,
the
Intel Inspector
:
- Extracts the result archive.
- Names the extracted resultimport@@@, whereimportis a constant, and@@@represents the next available number.
- Saves the extracted result to animport@@@directory of the same name.
If the import file is a result not associated with a
project or a result from another Intel® error-detection product, the
Intel Inspector
:
- Makes a copy of the result.
- Converts the copy to theIntel Inspectorresult format.
- Names the new resultimport@@@, whereimportis a constant, and@@@represents the next available number.
- Saves the new result to animport@@@directory of the same name.
- Refinalize the imported result to apply current project symbol information. (Use theRe-resolveoption on theProject Navigatorpane context menu.)
- Change the cross-project result name template to change the name of the imported result.
- Change basic project properties to save the imported result to a custom location.
