Known Issues
- The installation is halted due to dpkg locks / error 1.Workaround: Reboot the target machine or force stop the process holding the dpkg lock.
- On Ubuntu* 20.04 LTS target machinehddldaemoninitialization fails inside the containerOpenVINO™image openvino/ubuntu20_runtime:2021.4 while running the sample demos on HDDL accelerator.
- On CentOS* target machine, ifhddldaemonfailed to start the service, perform the steps below:
- Reboot the target machine.
- Execute the following commands:source /opt/intel/openvino/bin/setupvars.sh cd $HDDL_INSTALL_DIR ./install_IVAD_VPU_dependencies.sh cd ./bin ./hddldaemon
- Installation ofOpenVINO™runtime component might fail in VM environment.
- Windows OS - Installation may fail if the same target system is used to run the installer by logging in with different users.
- Windows OS -OpenVINO™Python* demos/samples are not working. These fail with Python version 3.8.3. This will be fixed in a future release.
- Windows OS - If Docker desktop opens in the foreground while installation through edgesoftware, then please minimize the Docker desktop.
- Windows OS - Installation of Docker CE dependent components (Docker Compose, EdgeX, andOpenVINO™) in a container may fail while switching between open network and proxy enabled networks.
