Quote Status Definitions

Status

Definition

Draft

The quote has been started and saved as a draft, but not submitted. It could be missing information or pending a decision on the submitter’s end. The quote will be in Draft status until it is submitted for approval.

Submitted

A Quote has been submitted for the review process. The quote status will be submitted until a quote line is marked as Won, Lost, or Approved.

Won

If any quote lines in the request are won, the quote status will show as Won.

Lost

If no quote lines in the request are won, but at least one is lost, the quote status will show as Lost.

Approved

If no quote lines in the request are won or lost, but at least one is approved, the quote status will show as Approved.

Rejected

If no quote lines in the request are won, lost, or approved, but at least one is rejected, the quote status will show as Rejected.

Quote Line Status

Draft

The quote line has been started and saved, but not submitted. It could be missing information or pending a decision on the submitter’s end.

Pending Intel Field Review

Can also be shown as Field Review. The quote line has been submitted and is waiting on the Intel Field Representative to forward to a Pricing Manager to approve or reject it. 

Pending Further Intel Review

Can also be shown as Pricing Review. The quote has been approved by the Intel Field Representative and is being reviewed by the Intel Pricing Managers.

Approved

The Intel Pricing Manager has approved the quote line and provided an approved quantity, price, start date, and end date for the project and end customer.

Rejected

The quote line has been reviewed, but a discount is not offered for the request at this time.

Won

The OEM won the bid with the end customer for this product.

Lost

The OEM lost the bid with the end customer for this product.

Revised

Reflects a quote line that is no longer active because a change request has been approved for it.

Canceled Approved or Won quote lines can be canceled only if no rebate was processed.  The quote’s end customer being added to the restricted entity list is an example of why a quote without rebate payments would be canceled.
