Unable to Add User to an Intel® Partner Alliance Account

How to resolve the "user does not exist" error.

Description
  • While trying to add new users from the Administrator profile into the Intel® Partner Alliance account, encountered the message: user already exists.
  • After trying the recovery password process encountered the message: user does not exist.
Resolution

This can happen when contacts are added to an account but are in pending status. Passwords cannot be updated until users complete the registration.

  1. To finish the process search for the email invitation in your mailbox (review your spam folder)
  2. Log in and follow the instructions contained in the emails that were triggered when the invitation was sent by the account administrator.
  3. Contact Intel® Partner Alliance Help, if the invitations were not received.
