Problem:

There is a bug in ALTASMI_PARALLEL, where the counter is not being reset properly when completed read_status operation. This issue caused the latching of status register data to de-assert earlier and jeopardized the status_out data.



Solution:

Fix the counter issue in ALTASMI_PARALLEL.

Caution - You must either have previously installed the
          Quartus II 13.1 software or must
          install the Quartus II 13.1 software
          before installing this patch. Otherwise, the patch will
          not be installed correctly and the Quartus II
          software will not run properly.
