The patch solves an error that is encountered while trying to use
post-fit partitions with placement preservation level:
  Error (170208): Cannot place X nodes into a single ALM

The fix is under Quartus INI control:
      qic_keep_feeders=on

Please put the INI variable statement(s) in quartus.ini, and put
quartus.ini into your project directory.


Caution - You must either have previously installed the
          Quartus II 12.1 SP1 DP6 software or must
          install the Quartus II 12.1 SP1 DP6 software
          before installing this patch. Otherwise, the patch will
          not be installed correctly and the Quartus II
          software will not run properly.
