Intel® Anti-Theft Technology provides an added level of hardware-based security to your notebook to protect it when it is lost or stolen.

Intel® Remote PC Assist Technology

Intel® Remote PC Assist Technology² enables you to request remote technical help from a service provider if you encounter a problem with your PC even when it's not functioning.

Intel® Upgrade Service¹ enables down-the-wire hardware upgrades after a system's been purchased, providing new levels of platform flexibility to meet the growing needs of your business.

¹ Intel® Upgrade Service requires the computer system to have upgrade-enabled BIOS and Intel® chipset, network hardware and software, as well as connection with a power source and the World Wide Web. The Intel Upgrade Application must be deployed on the target computer running one of the supported operating systems in order to perform upgrade operations. Use of the upgrade may require configuration by the purchaser. Intel Upgrade Service is not available in all geographies or on all computer systems. ² Intel® Remote PC Assist Technology requires the computer to have Intel Remote PC Assist Technology-enabled BIOS, Intel® chipset with Intel Remote PC Assist Technology mode enabled, network hardware and software, Intel® Active Management Technology, as well as connection with a power source and the Internet. This service operates via a wired LAN connection only and requires a direct Internet connection (no proxy server) with the ability to connect to external Internet locations (locations outside the local network). A remote service provider supporting the Intel Remote PC Assist Technology must be used to perform remote management. The Intel Remote PC Assist Wizard application and third party remote management software tools supporting Intel Remote PC Assist Technology must be deployed on the target computer running one of the supported operating systems in order to perform remote management operations. Use of the technology may require configuration by the purchaser. Intel Remote PC Assist Technology is not available in all geographies or on all computer systems.
