Deploy new services, minimize expenses, and generate new revenue with Modular Communications Platforms based on Intel® building blocks.

Modular communications platforms (MCP) are industry standards-based communications infrastructure platforms and building blocks that enable efficiencies through the entire value chain including solution flexibility, faster time-to-market, vendor choice, and cost benefits.
Standards-based products are available from multiple vendors, allowing Telecom Equipment Manufacturers (TEMs) to develop carrier grade solutions that enable scalability from access to core; significant industry momentum has been fostered through the innovation of members in the Intel® Communications Alliance; interoperability has been tested with great success in multiple Interoperability Workshops; and modular products based on open industry standards have gained significant interest at carriers who are designing them into next generation networks today.
CP-TA drives interoperability
Intel conceives and co-founds Communications Platforms Trade Association (CP-TA) to focus on certifying interoperability of open standards based communications platforms building blocks.
