AUTHOR'S BIOGRAPHY

Genevieve Bell is currently a senior researcher in Intel Architecture Lab's People and Practices Research. She is a cultural anthropologist by training and has conducted fieldwork in Western Europe, Asia, the US, and Australia. She holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Stanford University and is working on turning her dissertation into a book. She lives in Portland, Oregon where she is learning to like the rain.
