Sean Koehl
Sean is a technology strategist for Intel's Corporate Technology Group focused on driving activities to accelerate industry momentum and alignment around Intel's Tera-scale Computing Research vision and helping to bring massively parallel computing capabilities to PCs and servers. Sean also serves as editor of the Research@Intel blog.
Sean joined Intel in 1998 as an engineer working on silicon optical debug and has made contributions to the design, packaging and research of silicon devices for Intel's Photonics Technology Lab. As a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer, Sean worked to educate the public on Intel's breakthroughs in the area of silicon photonics. Sean received a B.S. in Applied Physics from Purdue University and holds five patents in the area of silicon-based optoelectronics.
